Nashik Entrepreneur Questioned For Six Hours
According to a report by The Free Press Journal, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) questioned a Nashik hotelier, who is believed to have political connections, for six hours. This interrogation happened on Tuesday, April 21. The SIT officers reportedly interrogated him about the possible monetary links with Kharat. The officials also asked questions related to the suspected land deals, financial links involving large sums, and any direct or indirect economic activity. After the session, the businessman was allowed to leave; however, an insider pointed out that the officials may have gathered important information that would potentially intensify the investigation as time passes.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has now discovered 60 accounts at a Nashik-based co-operative credit society, in which Ashok Kharat has been named as nominee and his phone number is also linked with these accounts. Additionally, it appears that Kharat may be facing some health issues. Previously, his legal counsel requested the court for a neurological evaluation, stating that there might be a neurological issue, and they asked for a consultation with a neurosurgeon. Media reports also mentioned that Kharat was going through other health issues. He reportedly complained about nausea, vomiting, headache, and chest pain. Soon, a cardiac ambulance arrived as a precautionary measure, and he was given oxygen support for some time. He is being monitored after the doctors conducted preliminary examinations.
For the unaware, the SIT is reportedly investigating the allegations related to r*ape, black magic, and more against Ashok Kharat.
