But what caught our attention were the beautiful gold drop earrings by an Indian brand called Swadesh, owned by Nita Ambani. The pieces feature a tapered silhouette, with beautiful diamonds using the traditional dank polki technique as per their Instagram page. The intricate hand-detailing reflects the precision and legacy of the historic craft, in which each stone is carefully placed. This makes the earrings timeless and rare.
Indian fans were excited to watch this crossover come to life when the K-pop idol talked about the brand with International media. Many started requesting that the Ambanis bring their favourite singer to India. They commented, “A lot of western celebrities are also wearing swadesh nowadays, and now this thing too,” and “INDIAN BLINKS WE WON.”
