Yami Gautam Summoned By ED. Here Are Other Actresses That Recently Had Trysts With Law Enforcement.
The life of actors and actresses is surely not easy. From managing hectic schedules to holding up their reputation, it is an unforgiving task. Most handle it with grace and finish their journey without any taint on their reputation, but it is not the same for others. Especially since nowadays the authorities are keeping a strict eye on the Bollywood celebrities. From NCB summoning actresses like Rhea Chakraborty, Deepika Padukone, and Sara Ali Khan to the very latest Mumbai unit of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoning Yami Gautam in an alleged case of money laundering, the authorities have been strict with the celebs, to say the least.
Recently, Yami Gautam got married to Aditya Dhar in Chandigarh. She came back to Mumbai, and soon after ED summoned her to appear before them to record her statement on the FEMA-based case. The case is in connection with the fact that Yami has been involved in some sort of FEMA violations which includes foreign transactions through her bank account.

Many names have come out in drug-related chats, and one of them is Deepika Padukone. She was also called in for questioning by the NCB on 25th September.

3. Kangana Ranaut
In 2019, Javed Akhtar filed a defamation case against Kangana Ranaut stating that she has been making defamatory and baseless comments about him in interviews. Following that she had been asked to appear in the Juhu police station on 22nd January.

Even though nothing has been proved, and there has not been much development in the cases against these actresses, the fact remains that their reputation has taken quite a bit of a hit. They’ve been subjected to social media trials, and intense trolling.
Well, the only thing left to do is wait. Wait till there is some concrete evidence that either clears their names or gets them more into trouble. For now, it’s just a waiting game.
