2x Increase In Women Applying For Work From Home Jobs. More Workplaces Need To Enable This Option!

I have seen a lot of working women who are dealing with double-burden syndrome. Even though women are always ready to achieve the impossible, managing personal and professional life without feeling extremely exhausted is really difficult. However, women have a solution for it which is not the best option but something is better than nothing, right? A job platform recently revealed that there has been a 2x increase in women applying for work from home jobs. We are not surprised at all!

On Tuesday, a report from a professional networking platform – apna.co revealed that it witnessed a 2x increase in women applying for work from home jobs during the last eight months of the year. The report also mentioned that it recorded a 132% increase in the number of women users on the platform, with a majority of them looking for remote working jobs. The reason behind the major hike in applications for work-from-home jobs is that many women want to spend less time commuting and it can also provide them flexible working hours so that they can support their household work or they can also use the time in alternate forms of income generation
