Woman Non-consensually Kissing Men On Their Back Goes Viral As ‘The Lipstick Bandit’. Can We Stop Being Creepy For Clout?
The internet is a place that will never fail to surprise me. That is because it is filled with people who are willing to do anything and everything for clout on the internet. Remember the time when people were randomly licking public surfaces IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC or when we were all eating tide pods? Ah, the good old days! Anyway, I bring this up because I just saw a viral video of a girl randomly kissing men on their t-shirts without their knowledge and leaving lipstick marks on them. Why, you ask? Ah well, I suppose because she can.
In a viral video, a girl can be seen in a clip applying lipstick and kissing unsuspecting men on their back, leaving lipstick stains all over the back of their t-shirt. The video seems to have been shot by her friend when they were out at night at an Irish bar last week for St Patrick’s Day.

The video went viral on TikTok after it was uploaded by @littlewank where the girl can be seen applying lipstick and kissing random unsuspecting men, literally behind their backs. Clearly, she is very amused by this.
The woman has been termed as the ‘lipstick bandit’ by the internet after people watched this. While some found this entire “prank” to be hilarious, many were quick to slam the woman. They accused her of ruining people’s relationships and of being inappropriate.

Now, as a woman myself, I don’t think that if I saw my partner come back with lipstick stains at the back of his tee, I would think he is having an affair. I would probably be very confused because realistically, why would one have kiss marks at the back of their clothes in case of infidelity? Like, it doesn’t make much sense to me.
Having said that, I don’t condone this prank. I do believe that it is not only inappropriate but also creepy. Like, can you imagine the outrage there would be if a man shot himself doing this to random women without consent? And I am of the opinion that consent isn’t limited to any gender; if you are not comfortable with men doing these kinds of creepy things to women, let’s not normalise women doing it to men.
