A UP Family Beats Their Daughter To Death And Then Burns Her Body Because She Spoke To A Boy. The Measures To Control Women Have Gotten Extreme
I was lucky enough to have parents that were comfortable with me having friends from other genders. Unfortunately, most people aren’t that lucky in that department and by most people. I mean most women. I have come across so many of my friends’ parents who have issues with them having male friends. While my male friends are free to come over to my house even in the middle of the night, most women can’t even interact with men on a day-to-day basis outside their households. However, I never expected that people would take such extreme measures as this family from Uttar Pradesh did when they allegedly beat up their daughter to death and burnt her body, just for talking to a boy.
When I read the news of this female student, who was allegedly beaten up and burnt by her own family. I couldn’t believe what I was reading, but clearly. Humanity has gone down the drain. At Dedhia village, Barabanki under the Kothi police station regimen, a 16-year-old female student was beaten to death by her own family, for talking to a boy. The family allegedly burnt the body in a field nearby.

After the villagers informed, the police of the incident, the police team reached the spot and quell the fire. However, the cops recovered, the charred remains of the teenage girl. The girl’s family is currently on the run. The police suspect the girl’s family for the murder and have launched a hunt to trace down the parents of the victim. Moreover, policemen have been deployed within the village as well.

According to sources, the victim was a student at Kasturba Gandhi Girls Residential school. The body was identified by the villagers and was 80% burned. The police later sent the remains that they recovered for a post-mortem.
The residents of the village told the police that the girl had visited the village on account of Holi. The eighth-grade student came to the village around two weeks ago. Manoj Pandey, the superintendent of police, said that the girl’s death still remains a mystery. When the villagers were asked about the incident they said that there was a fight in the family after the girl was caught talking to someone on the phone. The forensics team have found blood spots in the girl’s house as well.
