Ukrainian Mayor Claims Women Are Cutting Off Hair To Be ‘Less Attractive’ To Save Themselves From Getting Raped By Russian Troops
Sometimes I think these world leaders are quite gullible and ignorant because they don’t understand that women suffer more when they get into meaningless arguments and fights. And the same thing is happening in Ukraine where innumerable women are becoming the victims of war. Ukrainian women are cutting their hair in order to appear less attractive and protect themselves from getting raped by Russian troops. This is so heartbreaking!
Unfortunately, the war between Russia and Ukraine is not going to end any time soon and the women of Ukraine have to pay a heavy price for it. As Russian troops are capturing Ukrainian cities, the number of rapes and assaults by Russian soldiers is increasing. A mayor recently mentioned that to save themselves from Russian soldiers, women of the war-torn nation are cutting off their hair to appear less attractive. “Girls started cutting their hair short to be less attractive, so no one looks at them anymore,” she said. Ukrainian MP Lesia Vasylenko also mentioned this in her recent tweet.

According to the reports, Russian soldiers are abducting young girls and women, they are murdering them after sexually assaulting them. The mayor said that the Russian soldiers raped two teenage sisters living in a small village in Ukraine. She also added that the soldiers are raping the girls and women in front of their families. “Women were pulled by their hair out of their basements so that they could abuse them,” she said.

These men are using rape as a weapon of war which is absolutely shameful. The world leaders need to take some action regarding this issue.
