UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson Calls Putin The “Perfect Example Of Toxic Masculinity”
Women need to be in more positions of power. Not a hot take, obviously. But not implemented either. Let’s be fair, while we have some good male leaders, men have been running the world for a while now and I personally don’t see anything good coming out of it. And I think Boris Johnson agrees with me as he said in a recent interview that not only do women need more positions of power but also that Vladimir Putin wouldn’t be attacking Ukraine so mercilessly had he been a woman too!

Boris Johnson claims that if Vladimir Putin were a woman, he would not have started his “crazy, macho” invasion of Ukraine. The prime minister described the Russian President as an example of toxic masculinity as he met with Nato leaders in Madrid to discuss a fundamental revamp of the western defence alliance. He said that he doesn’t think that Putin would have gone on a “crazy, macho” quest to attack Ukraine and mass murder if he were a woman. He further went on to call Putin a “perfect example of toxic masculinity” and what he is doing in Ukraine. As Nato prepared to consider force growth and membership applications from Finland and Sweden, Mr Johnson argued that we need more women in positions of power.

Sources say that Defence Secretary Ben Wallace agreed with the PM saying that Putin’s perspective of the world is a “small man, macho view”. He further added that we rarely hear the phrase little lady syndrome but we do hear You usually hear about small man syndrome. He said that he believes Putin has it in spades. The leader of the Scottish National Party, Nicola Sturgeon, also backed Mr Johnson’s remarks. She said that she believes it is important to not generalise and that mistakes are made by both men and women. However, she said she thinks that women bring more common sense, emotional intelligence, and a reasoned approach to the table in such situations.
