Two Ukrainian Soldiers Tie The Knot Amid War With Russia. Why Make Love Wait?
You know, at first, I didn’t understand the hype around weddings, to be honest. But after growing up, I realised that we need a supportive life partner. After all, only our partners can understand our needs and hold our hands tight when life gets tough, right? And two Ukrainian soldiers proved it when they decided to tie the knot on the battlefield amid the ongoing war with Russia. This is so heartwarming, yaar!
Since the beginning of the war between Russia and Ukraine, we witnessed innocent people losing their lives, many people had to leave their homes and country which is so sad. However, recently we got good news from the war-torn country that brought a bright smile on our faces and tears to our eyes, a couple in Ukraine who are soldiers fighting for their country against Russia tied the knot on the battlefield. On Sunday, the Ukrainian soldiers named Lesya and Valeriy of the 112 brigades got married in the middle of a war because the battle can wait but not the wedding and we couldn’t agree more. During the ceremony, the couple was wearing their military uniform and the bride adorned a veil with a beautiful bouquet. Sharing the news with a picture of the couple, the tweet by Kyivpost read, “Today, in the field conditions of #UkraineRussiaWar, of the 112 brigade of the territorial defense, Lesya and Valeriy got married. The military chaplain married them.”

This news came after a couple named Klevets and Natalia Vladislave got married in Odessa, Ukraine just a few days ago. The wedding took place in a bomb shelter. Love doesn’t wait for anything, I guess!
