No one said marriage is easy, but it is worth it. It’s important to have a companion. Someone you can grow old with and blindly rely on. I’ve never been married. I haven’t even come close. But even I know that trust is the most important element in any relationship. Believing that your partner is being faithful to you in every aspect. What would do though if you thought your partner was stepping out on you? I would walk away and let karma do its job. But apparently, not everyone has the same thought process. After writing numerous articles I have realised that seeking revenge against one’s cheating spouse is a very commonly occurring phenomenon. Like this woman from Faridabad, for instance, who was arrested for planting cannabis in her husband’s autorickshaw after she suspected him of being unfaithful. It was a nasty plan that went up in smoke (pun intended!).
This woman from Faridabad was arrested for planting cannabis in her husband’s autorickshaw in a bid to get him arrested. She suspected him of having an affair and decided to exact revenge. Don’t you think just flat out asking him would’ve been a better, less illegal, option? According to the reports, the woman is a resident of SGM Nagar and hails from Uttar Pradesh.

Sube Singh, PRO of Faridabad Police said, “Her husband used to often return home late at night, and sometimes would not return at night altogether because of which the woman began suspecting him. The couple had been getting into a lot of fights over this recently and, to take revenge against him, she decided to trap him in a police case and get him arrested.”
The woman travelled to Delhi, bought the cannabis from a man named Pawan and planted it in her husband’s rickshaw. She didn’t stop there. The woman also tipped off the police. Based on the information received from her, the police arrested her husband. During the investigation though, the woman’s involvement in the case became increasingly clear. The investigation is ongoing.
Here’s what I don’t understand. Why go through all this trouble? If this woman suspected her husband of having an affair, why not just speak to him about it and deal with the situation? Her plan of getting her husband arrested backfired horribly and now she’s the one behind bars. It’s a truly bizarre incident.
