This Woman Found A Plasma Donor Through Tinder. What A Match!

People in this world can be broadly categorised into two groups, one who are always in the plain sight of cupid and find love at every corner sometimes even when they’re not looking. And others, like me, who may travel till the ends of the earth in search of true love but still come back empty handed. And here we are, unsuccessful even on dating apps like Tinder and Bumble, people are managing to find not just love, but also plasma donors on Tinder!

At a time when nothing apart from Coronovirus is in the talks, especially with the lethal second wave that is making the stats soar and not in a good way, help from any direction and in any capacity is appreciated. Including dating apps like Tinder, which recently proved to be of tremendous help when a user named Sohini Chattopadhyay found a plasma donor for her friend there.

Sharing the rather surprising incident with people on Twitter, Sohini wrote, “We found a plasma match for our friend through Tinder”. And adding to that a tad bit of sass, she further wrote, ““Dating app 1, govt 0”.

Turns out, Sohini’s friend who was 30 years old and suffering from the coronavirus, was in urgent need of plasma and was looking for it in every way possible. Using all mediums possible to look for a match, little did they know that it would be Tinder to the rescue. After all, it was famous for making a match..

The covid-positive friend has mentioned how she was positive and in the need of plasma in her Tinder bio, and contrary to what they had expected, they did find someone who volunteered to help. Calling it “something nice that happened in weird times” in subsequent tweets on Twitter, Sohini went on to share how it was heartening to find someone come forward in the hour of need.

Her friend as of now is recovering well from the virus and no longer requires more donation of plasma. But in case someone does, we now know one rather useful hack to this problem! Swipe right!
