Actress Achint Kaur Says She’s Cautious During Covid 19 But As A Breadwinner, She Has To Work
We spent all of 2020 locked within the confines of our own homes. Unfortunately, from the looks of things, it seems highly unlikely that 2021 is going to be any better. According to official data, there are over 2 lakh COVID 19 cases being reported every day. Of course, this pandemic has taken a toll on our health- mental and physical. But with the sudden surge in cases, we are forced to examine the other spheres of life that are being negatively impacted by this pandemic. Financial, for instance. With business shutting down and the lockdown being imposed, people are finding themselves in a sticky monetary situation. Not everyone can work from home. From small business owners to actors, everyone is jittery to get back to work.
According to these new lockdown protocols, all film and TV shoots have been stalled for the time being and rightfully so. A slwe of celebrities have tested positive for Covid 19. With the entertainment industry halted, the actors and technicians are facing serious losses. Recently, actress Achint Kaur opened up about this. She said that since these are unprecedented times, we have to learn and adapt. Achint also said that she needs to go out and work since she is the breadwinner of her family.
Achint Kaur said, “Nobody can predict the future or write a screenplay or a script that will tell us what will happen. What has happened is unprecedented and so we don’t know how to deal with it or what to do. This is a global pandemic, so it’ll impact everything and everyone. It’s just sad that everything has shut down but people like me who are the breadwinners of their families, need to go out and earn.”

Further adding, “I’m no longer wary or scared because I need to live my life and adapt to the pandemic till it stays. Yes, I’m going to be exceedingly cautious as I start a new series. We’ve to proceed with great care but we’ve to move on because we can’t put our lives on hold.”
Yes, it’s difficult. Everyone is in the same boat. A lot of people, who are the sole earners of their families, are facing similar problems due to Covid 19. And rectifying and solving this problem is essential. But if everyone thinks on the same lines as Achint Kaur, we will never be able to curb this pandemic. I agree that we can’t put our lives on hold. However, the alternative is way worse. Staying indoors is our best bet to flatten the curve.
As depressing as these pandemic times are, it will never get over if we don’t follow protocols and take precautions. Work is suffering, yes. But contracting the virus at a time when there is a shortage of everything from hospital beds to oxygen cylinders will be way, way worse.
