This Groom Fell Asleep On The Wedding Stage While Sitting Next To His Bride. Uh Oh!

A few days ago, my best friend just announced that she was getting engaged to her boyfriend. I was ecstatic to hear that. I want nothing more than for her to be happy. Eventually, I told my mother the amazing news and while she is as happy as I am, there is a downside. You see, now my mother is freaking out about me getting married. She wants to start making my biodata and looking for marriageable men. Honestly, I don’t exactly have an issue with that. But I do have certain expectations from the man, as any girl would. The most basic one is that he not fall asleep while we are getting married. I didn’t think I would have to specify this but reports of a groom falling asleep at his own wedding are going viral. It’s hilarious until it happens to you.

In the last few weeks, I have heard of more bizarre things happening at an Indian wedding than ever. From the bride who left her groom on their wedding day because he wears spectacles to the groom who walked out because there was no mutton curry at the feast, there is nothing better than wedding theatrics. But a groom falling asleep while sitting next to the bride at their wedding just takes the crown. I get that a person’s wedding day is chaotic and tiring but falling asleep is just not an option.

The clip showing the man in deep slumber has gone viral on social media. In it, you can see the bride awkwardly sitting next to him while a few people try very hard to wake him up. Clearly, they do not succeed as the groom struggles to open his eyes. At this point, the groom’s family should just marry him Weekend At Bernie’s style.

Even though we don’t know where this incident took place was taken or why this groom was sleeping like a baby while sitting next to his bride, this is one of the funniest wedding moments. Although, I can’t help but feel a little sorry for the bride because this is a definite deal-breaker.
