This Girl Shared Her First Salary With Her Family And It’s So Cute

I started working when I was in the second year of college. I used to give tuitions to students in the 5th and 6th grade. Which was pretty ironic considering my own grades. My first salary was Rs 2000. I know it’s not a lot but it was extremely special. I still remember the proud look on my mother’s face when I handed her my very first salary. I was reminded of this heartwarming story from my life when I read about this girl who is going viral after she transferred her entire first salary over to her family. It’s such a proud moment in everyone’s life.

When Shivangi Tiwari received her first payment of Rs 5,000, instead of splurging on herself and her friends, she did what most of us did at that point in life, handed it over to her family. She went viral after she shared two screenshots on social media. The first one was a message stating that an amount of money had been credited to her account and the second. And the second screenshot was from her family group where she asked her family to check their Gpays. This is a very defining moment!

When her family received the money, her mother expressed her love and happiness. However, her brother asked why he had received only Rs 200. To this Shivangi replied saying, “because u earn”. Relatable, isn’t it?

The tweet was shared on 15th April and it has already gone viral. There was an outpour of love and blessings for Shivangi. Many congratulated her on earning her first salary while some asked her to distribute sweets.

This post just tugs on all the right heartstrings. It’s very important to celebrate these small moments of joy, especially considering the pressing times we are currently living in.

More power to Shivangi!
