Taliban Leader Says They Keep ‘Naughty’ Women At Home. This Is Shocking And Disgusting.
The Taliban ruled Afghanistan has been seeing increasing restrictions on women. From driving licenses not being issued to women to forcing them to wear head-to-toe outfits covering even their faces, each restriction is worse and even stricter than the previous. And now, a shocking and even absurd statement is made by the terrorist organisation’s co-leader who has said that they keep ‘naughty’ women at home. I cannot even begin to fathom what is even going on with them making such public statements and the state of women there is beyond imagination.
Taliban’s Shocking Statement
As per a report by India Today, Sirajuddin Haqqani, who is the Taliban’s co-deputy leader, was asked about the women who are afraid to step out of their homes. To this, he replied by saying that they keep ‘naughty’ women at home. Issuing a clarification on this statement, he further said that by naughty women, he means those women who are in control of ‘other sides’ to bring the Taliban down. He also said that there is a piece of good news which they will announce soon. Whether the news will really be good or not, we will have to wait and watch.

When the group had come into power, the group had said that they are not forcing women to wear a hijab as it is not mandatory but since it is an Islamic order, women should implement it. But in a complete reverse decision issued by them on May 7, 2022, the Taliban announced that the Afghnai women will have to compulsorily cover their bodies head-to-toe which does not even allow their faces to reveal.
