Sherlyn Chopra Says That Raj Kundra Made Her Shoot Pornographic Videos By Telling Her That Shilpa Shetty Liked Her Work
My mother is a huge fan of conspiracies. Especially ones that involve a prominent figure in Bollywood. When Raj Kundra’s massive scandal broke, she was more intrigued than a little child left alone in a candy store. I remember her telling me that she found it unbelievable that a man with Raj Kundra’s stature could be involved in something as sleazy as porn. And while most of what we hear right now is speculation, there is never smoke without fire, right? Numerous accusations have been thrown around and levelled against Raj Kundra. His wife and reputed actress, Shilpa Shetty’s involvement in all this is also a major question. There are so many faces to this investigation that it’s getting tougher by the day to keep up.
One of the many accusations against Raj Kundra has been made by actress and model, Sherlyn Chopra. Reportedly, she has given her statement to the Mumbai Crime Branch’s Property Cell. Earlier this year, she had filed an FIR against Raj Kundra stating that he had tried to sexually assault her. And Sherlyn’s latest accusation is that he “misguided” her into shooting porn by saying that his wife, Shilpa Shetty, really liked her work.
In an interview, Sherlyn told India Today Television that she considered Raj Kundra to be her mentor but he manipulated and misled her into shooting pornographic photos and videos. She said, “Raj Kundra was my mentor. He had misguided me, saying whatever I was shooting was for glamour. He even told me that Shilpa Shetty liked my videos and photos. Raj Kundra made me believe that semi-nude and porn is casual, everyone does it and so should I.”

Further adding, “Raj Kundra kept telling me that Shilpa Shetty liked my videos and photos. This gave me more motivation to work on such videos. When you are motivated by people like Shilpa Shetty, you don’t understand what’s right and wrong. When I was praised for making such videos, it gave me a push to do more.”
Sherlyn went on to talk about how she met Raj Kundra and believed that she would get her big break. But instead, he made her “do wrong things”. Sherlyn said that she started doing glamorous videos and then was made to do “complete nude videos”.
Raj Kundra’s arrest and all these allegations came absolutely out of the blue and have left everyone extremely baffled. Although, it’s absolutely essential that we pay close attention to these sexual misconduct accusations. Especially considering that none of the men accused in the #MeToo movement faced any lasting consequences. We don’t want a repeat of that, do we? Hopefully, the authorities will remain unbiased and get to the bottom of this messy situation.
