Meet Sarita Mali, 28-Years-Old Woman Who Used To Sell Flowers For A Living, Is All Set To Pursue PhD Degree In The US

And there are many women in our country who are proving it and Sarita Mali is one of them. The 28-year-old woman used to sell flowers for a living but now, she is all set to pursue her PhD degree in the United States. Yes, you heard it right!
The Inspiring Journey Of Sarita Mali
Breaking the rigid societal and financial barriers, Sarita Mali is all set to live her dream of studying in the United States. She’s going to pursue a PhD degree from the University of California. However, the journey was not easy at all. As a child, she used to sell flowers on the streets of Mumbai for a living. She used to study in a Municipal school and saved money by giving tuition to kids to pay her college fees. After her graduation, she earned an MA degree in Hindi Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University.

In a Facebook post shared by her, Sarita Mali said that she always had a passion for studies. Sarita also mentioned the names of her teachers and mentors. She thanked them for helping her throughout her journey.
Her siblings who are also good at studies are inspired by their elder sister. They are preparing for their competitive examinations, as per reports.
