Russian Soldier Rapes 16-Year-Old Pregnant Ukrainian Girl, Says “Sleep With Me Or I Will Bring 20 More Men”
War crimes are the absolute worst and amid the Russia Ukraine war, things continue to get worse for the women. Several Ukrainian women have levelled rape allegations against the Russian troops and each one of them is as brutal as it can get. In yet another shocking case, a 16-year-old pregnant teen was allegedly raped by a drunk Russian soldier. The teen has claimed that the soldier threatened her with gang rape if she refused to sleep with him and also strangled her. The incident took place in the village of Kherson which is currently under Russian control.
According to a report by CNN quoted by India Today, the victim who was 6 months pregnant at the time of the alleged rape said that she and her family were hiding in the basement of their house to escape the bombing. When the family took the children out to eat during the evening, they were spotted by a drunk soldier who asked how old the children were. He then called upon the victim’s mother who was let off quickly after which he called the 16-year-old girl. He asked her to undress and when she refused he threatened her that if she did not sleep with him, he would bring 20 more men to rape her. “Either you sleep with me now or I will bring 20 more men,” the soldier was quoted saying by the victim.
Further, the victim alleged that the Russian soldier tried to strangle her and threatened to kill her if she resisted rape. She further added that another soldier who was sober asked him to stop but his request fell on deaf ears. Recounting the incident, the pregnant teenager revealed that the Russian troops were calling him blue and had said that the soldier had a criminal past and was on a hunt for a girl of ‘easy virtue’. The 16-year old Ukrainian teen also shared that the abuse did not end there. The next day she was allegedly taken to another soldier who yelled at her and threatened to rape her again and when she started crying she was told that it was simply a test to check if she was telling the truth or not.

While the news portal was unable to verify the rape allegations, the Ukrainian prosecutors told CNN (as quoted by India Today) that the claims were investigated and the attack was confirmed as there were no Ukrainian servicemen in the village at the time of the attack. The rape was termed a war crime by the authorities.

TBH, amid a war between two nations, it’s only the common people that suffer at the hands of the troops and due to the war crimes. It’s shocking that even a 6 months pregnant teenage girl was not spared from these inhumane war crimes.
