Nusrat Jahan Confirms Pregnancy As She Flaunts Her Baby Bump In Instagram Post
Bengali actress and politician, Nusrat Jahan has been quite in news lately as she broke her silence on her separation with ex Nikhil Jain. Though the couple were married according to the Turkish Marriage Regulation, their marriage remained unregistered in India. Hence, she dismissed it as a mere live-in relationship, as per laws in India. However, she is now out of that and things seem to be looking up, as she confirmed pregnancy in an Instagram post.
There were speculations about her pregnancy and in an interview, Nikhil Jain even clarified that it’s not his child. Confirming the news, she uploaded adorable pictures flaunting her baby bump on Instagram. Nusrat Jahan captioned the images, “Kindness changes everything”. Dressed in jeans and a white top, she wore a printed scarf that plays peek-a-boo with her baby bump.
She had spoken at length about the alleged financial abuse she faced at the hands of her intimate partner. “Being on foreign land, as per Turkish Marriage Regulation, ceremony is invalid. It was an interfaith marriage, it requires validation under Special Marriage Act in India which didn’t happen. As per court of Law, it’s not marriage but relationship or live-in relationship. Thus, the question of divorce does not arise,” Nusrat Jahan was quoted by ANI.

Apparently, they got separated in 2020, “Our separation happened long back, but I did not speak about it as I intended to keep my private life to myself. Thus, my actions must not be questioned based on ‘separation’, by the media or anybody I am not related to. The alleged marriage is not legal, valid and tenable; and thus, was not a marriage at all in the eye of law.”
Nusrat Jahan has not revealed whether she is in a relationship and more details of the pregnancy. For now, everyone is just speculating. As Nikhil Jain claimed they didn’t make the baby together, I guess that possibility is eliminated. Meanwhile, buzz is that she is dating Bengali actor Yash Dasgupta and they have often been spotted romancing it up.
