In Haridwar, A Mother And Her 6 YO Daughter Were Gang-Raped In A Moving Car. We Live Amongst Monsters!
A mother and her six-year-old daughter were reportedly gang-raped in a moving car in Haridwar’s Roorkee by a guy and his friends after he gave her a ride in his car. The mother was on her way home from Piran Kaliyar, a Muslim sacred place, with her six-year-old daughter when she was offered a ride by a man named Sonu.
According to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Pramendra Doval, the man’s companions were already in the car. Sonu and his friends reportedly raped the woman and her daughter in the moving car and abandoned them near a canal, according to the lawsuit.

The woman made it to a police station in the middle of the night and told them about the incident. According to authorities, while the woman could not say how many men were in the car, she did say the driver’s name was Sonu. The two survivors were admitted to the Roorkee Civil Hospital and a medical test revealed that they had been raped. Police stated that they have filed a case and begun searching for the accused, but have yet to locate them.

This entire case is making my skin crawl. It is absolutely disgusting that we live in a country where women of any age aren’t safe anywhere. Moreover, it is laughable that people in India were talking about how India is better than the US because of the Roe Vs Wade overturn. But are abortion rights the only thing that makes a country safe and livable for women? Isn’t there more to it? We live in a country where we receive countless rape cases every day. And these are the ones that are reported, we have no idea how many women choose to stay mum after experiencing such gruesome atrocities. What are we celebrating and where do our priorities lie?
