Jennifer Aniston Says Courtney Cox And Lisa Kudrow Are More Like Sisters
Usually, I am not a morning person. I need my coffee and a little breakfast before I can start feeling like myself again. However, this morning was different. You see, when I woke up I had a notification on my phone that told me that the FRIENDS reunion trailer was out. I nearly cried when I watched it. Even today, decades after the show has ended, it is still effortlessly relatable. I must’ve watched FRIENDS over and over again at least 50 times. I know all the jokes, all the references, the theme song lyrics and even most of the dialogues. But even today Ross, Rachel, Joey, Monica, Chandler and Pheobe make me laugh like it’s the first time I am watching them. Jennifer Aniston’s Rachel is my spirit animal. More than anything, I fell in love with the easy chemistry and the bond between the characters and the actors. Is it possible that an entire show is my lobster? Because we would never take a break from each other.
It’s no secret that the actors that played the beloved characters are actually best friends in real life. Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow are always popping up on each other’s social media accounts stirring up feelings of nostalgia in the rest of us. In fact, these three are so close that Jennifer Aniston is the godmother to Courtney’s daughter and Courtney was the maid of honour when Jennifer tied the knot with actor Justin Theroux back in 2015. Their friendship has inspired millions of people around the world and it’s hard to believe that it all started with one sitcom.

Proving that their bond is still as strong as it was 20 years ago, in a recent interview with People magazine, Jennifer Aniston said that she, Courtney and Lisa were more like sisters. The sweet sentiment became a thousand times sweeter when she said that though she doesn’t have any sisters but she imagines if she did, their bond would be similar to how she, Courtney and Lisa are. She also described the entire cast as a family. Well, I guess the theme song “I’ll be there for you” is a perfect fit for them.
That interview gave us some incredible insight into the cast and a whole lot of trivia. For instance, did you know that Lisa stole all of Pheobe’s rings? Or that Jennifer stole one of Monica’s dresses and still wears it to this day? Ah, to say that I can’t wait for the reunion is an understatement. In fact, I am more eager to watch that than Joey is to eat a meatball sub or Monica is to clean!
