Watching Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt Read A Raunchy Scene From ‘Fast Times’, Narrated By Morgan Freeman, Is So Much Second-Hand Embarrassment!
The moment has come come, my lovelies. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have finally reunited! But, like, hakuna your tatas, because it is not in the way you think. They’re not dating or anything (Brad’s dating Nicole Poturalski). But the two were part of a table read for the 1982 teen dramedy, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, for charity! The funds raised were to be donated for Sean Penn’s (who starred in the original film) charity CORE which is working towards COVID-19 relief efforts, and Reform Alliance, which advocates criminal justice reforms. Penn was part of the table read, along with Brad and Jen, as well as a bunch of other stars like Henry Golding, Jimmy Kimmel, Shia LaBeouf, John Legend, Ray Liotta, Matthew McConaughey, and Julia Roberts. The narration was done by the best of the best, God himself, Morgan Freeman.

Now, as most of you might know, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt, though married for five years from 2000 to 2005, never actually worked together in a movie. They last shared the screen some fifteen years ago, when Brad made a cameo on Jen’s sitcom, Friends. He had an uncredited role in Season 8 Episode 9, ‘The One With The Rumor’, playing Will Colbert, who along with Ross (David Schwimmer), was part of the ‘I Hate Rachel’ club. Following Brad Pitt’s split with Angelina Jolie in 2019, there were several rumours, hopes and wishes from fans for a Brad and Jen reunion. Especially after Jennifer Aniston’s split from husband Justin Theroux in 2017. However, while that hasn’t happened, this virtual reunion is pretty much a solid gift!

But wait, things get even more hot and hilarious! And it wasn’t just me grinning like a nostalgic fool at this reunion. The other stars in that table read (read: Julia Roberts) also couldn’t help but flash this ear-to-ear grins when Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston read their scene! And oh what a scene that was!
So, Brad Pitt read for the character of Brad Hamilton, who is a popular senior in his final year at Ridgemont High School. Jennifer Aniston read for Linda Barrett, who is a friend of Brad’s sister, Stacy (read by Julia Roberts). The scene they read was a rather raunchy one, in which Brad has a rather steamy dream featuring Stacy. Now, you’re gonna want to watch it for yourself without me spoiling it because…! And trust me, this scene is probably going to salvage 2020 for us!

Did you notice Jen’s constant eye-rolls? And how Brad couldn’t help but blush because imagine having to do this with your ex! The rest of the cast was trying so hard to control their laughter, and Morgan Freeman’s narration just made it even harder! Me, I watched the whole video practically dying of second-hand embarrassment! I think the fact that Brad Pitt’s character was also named Brad, and Jennifer Aniston had to call him by his own name during the scene made it even funnier!

There were some, and I kind of agree with them, who pointed out how while we all gush about this moment, the whole thing might’ve been super awkward for Jennifer Aniston and perhaps, even for Brad Pitt. More for Jen, I suppose, since she pretty much has to dirty talk to her ex in front of her peers and a live global audience. So full props for putting all of that personal history aside and pulling that off like the QUEEN that Jen is.
