Indian Women Cricket Team Beats England To Reach The Finals At Commonwealth Games, 2022. We Wish Them The Very Best!

Indians have some really high hopes from its athletes at the Commonwealth Games, 2022. And gladly, we are overjoyed with all the good news pouring in from the event. We were yet not over the win of Priyanka Goswami who secured the first medal in the 10,000m race event that we now have a momentous victory by our Indian women’s cricket team. As per the new updates from the CWG 2022, that are going on in Birmingham, the Indian women’s cricket team has already secured a silver medal by defeating the England team in the semi-finals of the game.

The Indian team headed by Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana in the vice-captain position has been performing extraordinarily at the event this year. Going by the latest updates on the sport at CWG 2022, India beat England by 4 runs. Apart from this, the individual performances by the plays were phenomenal and worth taking note of. As per the new reports on the news, vice-captain Smriti Mandhana displayed some mind-blowing batting skills on the pitch and made a half-century in just 23 balls. By this, she made herself the first Indian to mark this record in commonwealth games. Bowlers Sneh Rana and Deepti Sharma also showcased some impressive performances.  England made 160 runs in the twenty overs with 6 wickets down. Smriti Mandhana made 63 runs and another extremely well-played player on the ground was Jemimah Rodrigues who made 44 runs in 31 balls not-out. With this win, the Indian team has secured itself a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022.
