When I was still in school, and doing exceptionally well for myself, what with being a topper and all, it was right then that my father had imagined a typical career path for me. Expecting me to top the boards, study from a great college under Delhi University to go on too get a job at a great MNC, to be followed by pursuing my Masters from a privileged university. Completing her MS at the University of Florida, Deepthi Narkuti has done all of us Indians damn proud after she managed to bag a job with Microsoft! Offered a role of Software Development Engineer at Grade-2 in Microsoft’s headquarter office in Seattle, Deepthi’s package has left us all feeling a variety of emotions that oscillate between feeling proud of her and miserable about our own current packages.

It is being known that during the time of her placement, Deepthi didn’t just receive an offer from Microsoft, but also from Goldman Sachs and Amazon. And turns out, out of the 300 other students who got placed with Microsoft, she received the highest package from them all! Now isn’t that impressive?
Before getting her hands on this offer, Deepthi had been working with JP Morgan as a software engineer. And three years ago, she had quit her job from American Investment bank to pursue her further studies in the US.
Becoming a huge sensation with her recent package and also motivating people to go after their dreams with will and determination, Deepthi has gone viral. Her LinkedIn bio reads, “strongly believes that technology can greatly help in solving day to day problems,” and perhaps that is true. She also mentioned, “It thereby creates a significant impact in transforming the lives of the people,” and we know for a fact her life has been transformed and for the better!
