Goa Police Arrests 2 Associates Of BJP Leader Sonali Phogat In Connection To Her Death
The sudden death of BJP leader and ex-Bigg Boss contestant Sonali Phogat was quite shocking for the country. However, nobody would have imagined that her death was not natural and as her case unfolds, many surprising details are revealed. The BJP Leader’s death is a twisted case and in the recent updates, it has been known that the Goa Police has now arrested two culprits in Phogat’s death case.

Sonali Phogat took her last breath in Goa on August 22 and the cause of her demise was a cardiac arrest. But as the case in unwinding, it does not seem to be that simple. Also, it was surprising and shocking in terms that just a few hours ago she was active on her social media accounts. The country accepted her death to be a part of how unpredictable life can be, however, Sonali’s sisters and close ones did not really accept her passing away so easily. After the 41-year-old’s death, there were reports about her family sensing something wrong with her death and alleged that it was not a natural occurrence but a murder. Sonali Phogat’s brother filed a complaint at Anjuna Police Station against two associates of Sonali who had accompanied her on the trip to Goa. They were- Sudhir Sagwan and Sukhwinder Wasi. Based on the brother’s complaint, the Goan police carried out an autopsy on Sonali Phogat’s body that was conducted in the Goa Medical College and Hospital. The reports were declared on Thursday and they resulted in the arrests of the two associates. As per news, the two culprits have been allegedly charged under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
