Sonali Phogat, BJP Leader And ‘Bigg Boss’ 14 Wildcard Contestant Passes Away At 41
Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Sonali Phogat has breathed her last on August 22, 2022. She suffered a heart attack and passed away. Sonali Phogat was in Goa on Monday with her staff when this tragic incident took place. She was 41 years old and her brother has confirmed the news of her demise.
Who Is Sonali Phogat?
Sonali Phogat was an actress and a politician. She was popularly known for her stint in Bigg Boss 14 where she appeared as a wildcard participant. Post the show, she gained immense popularity. Sonali also had an active social media presence. She often would share pictures from the political rallies and gatherings she would attend on her Instagram handle. Apart from this, her social media feed was full of pictures and videos of her daughter and the exotic places she would vacation at.

Sonali Phogat made her debut in acting through a television serial titled Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma in 2016. She also starred in the Haryanvi language film titled Chhoriyan Chhoron Se Kam Nahi Hoti. Sonali also starred in several music videos and even a web series titled The Story Of Badmashgarh.

On the political front, she had contested elections from Adampur in the 2019 Haryana elections. Sonali was up against Kuldeep Bishnoi, who recently switched his party from Congress to the BJP.

Reportedly, Sonali’s husband Sanjay Phogat passed away under mysterious circumstances. The reason for his death is not yet known. he was 42 years old when he passed away. Sonali has a daughter Yashodhara Phogat.
