Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis’ Wife Amruta Fadnavis Posts Video Singing Hindi Rendition Of ‘Manike Mage Hithe.’
Which one of us doesn’t like randomly belting out some song that we like very much. While my introverted self is awkward about singing in front of people, I do sing to myself a lot, no matter how off-tune I might be. While I am not one to keep up with new music releases, it is not that difficult to keep up with what others are listening to when Instagram Reels keeps playing trending music constantly, embedding it into our memories (RIP TikTok). Anyway, I am certain that you guys must have heard the popular Sinhalese song, ‘Manike Mage Hithe.’ This song by Yohani & Satheeshan got super popular over reels and that’s where I heard it too. Many were seen making aesthetic videos or grooving to it including celebs such as Madhuri Dixit, Parineeti Chopra, Tiger Shroff etc enjoyed and made multiple videos featuring this song. Amongst them was also the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis’ wife Amruta Fadnavis.
Amruta Fadnavis took this trend a step further by singing the Hindi version of ‘Manike Mage Hithe.’ Not only that, she recorded it in a studio and paired it with a proper video which she posted to her Instagram. She was seen wearing wed and white which complimented her natural but very beautiful makeup. Amruta Fadnavis captioned the video saying, “#Amidst the ongoing Heated Political Times, take a Chill Pill with this Kool song! Lyrics by – Dev #anniversaryspecial Inspired by #manikemagehithe of Internet sensation #yohani #hindiversionofmanikemagehithe”

I believe it is nice to see this fun avatar of politicians and their families too. They are in the public eye constantly which pushes them to maintain a particular image. Stuff like this can help humanise them to the public and help them connect with the citizens too. It seems as though Amruta Fadnavis had a blast recording and shooting a video for this song and who can blame her? The song is catchy AF!
