Who Are The Female Athletes In The 22-Member Squad For World Athletics Championships?
As we all know, there are many women athletes who are breaking records and proving that they are much stronger than people assume they are. Speaking of women in sports, the Athletics Federation Of India recently announced the names of athletes participating in the World Athletics Championships Oregon this year and it includes five women athletes as well.
On June 30, the Athletics Federation Of India announced the names of the 22 athletes who are all set to participate in the World Athletics Championships Oregon 2022. The list also includes names of five women athletes, including S Dhanalakhsmi, Aishwarya Kailash Mishra, Parul Chaudhary, Annu Rani, and Priyanka Goswami. The names were announced by Adille J Sumariwalla – the President of AFI, he mentioned that the team had been selected from among those who had either attained the entry standard set by World Athletics or qualified on the basis of their world rankings. The World Athletics Championships Oregon22 will take place in Eugene, Oregon from July 15 to 24.

S Dhanalakhsmi
S Dhanalakhsmi is one of the promising sprinters of India and has broken the record held by P.T. Usha which was set in 1998.
