In Vizag, Father Rapes 15-Yr-Old Daughter For Using Too Much Phone. What Has This World Come To?
If I had to speak about myself and the current generation, there is no denying that we’re always on our phones. A constant complaint that I can be sure most of our parents have from us. In fact, my mother often tells me that one day she is going to throw my phone away. Having said that, there are not any extreme steps that our parents have taken to show how much they despise us for being on the phone. But the same can’t be said for this 15-year-old daughter from Vizag. Why? Because the father of this 15-year-old chose to rape his daughter for ‘using too much phone’. Is it just me or the reasons why rapes are being committed are getting petty and ridiculous? (Of course, no reason justifies rape, but this is just plain stupid and uncalled for).
A 42-year-old father was arrested by the police on Sunday for raping his 15-year-old daughter in Visakhapatnam. On January 23rd, the father accused in the rape case was sent to judicial remand.
According to the police, the mother of the 15-year-old daughter donated her one kidney to the father who was sick two years ago because of kidney failure. The couple has two children – a daughter and a son. It was when the mother left to live at her maternal home, was when the father raped his daughter for months on end.
And on Saturday when the daughter refused to leave school after school hours was questioned by a teacher, the truth of her being raped came to light. She told her teacher that she did not want to go home since her father was sexually assaulting her over a period of time. It was with the help of the teacher, the 15-year-old filed a rape complaint against her father with the local police.

As per reports, the father who is the accused in the rape case said that he was angry with his daughter as she was spending too much time on her phone. It is alleged that the father raped her over a span of a few months.
It is disgusting to know that the daughters of our countries aren’t safe even in their own homes. Like how bad does the situation has to get before we as a society change and take action against the accused of rape cases.
