After Chandigarh University, Madurai Woman Shoots Nude Videos Of Hostel Mates And Sends Them To Her Boyfriend
Earlier in September, a girl who was in her first year of MBA at Chandigarh University was arrested for making MMS videos of 60 girls in her hostel and sending them to her boyfriend in Shimla, who later leaked the private videos on social. The case came to light after a massive protest that took place at the university’s campus in Mohali. And now, something similar has taken place in Madurai. Yes, a doctor and his girlfriend were arrested by the police for allegedly clicking and sharing intimate photos and videos of his girlfriend’s hostel mates. This is beyond disgusting.
Ashiq, a doctor from Ramanathapuram Kamudi and his girlfriend Janani, a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) student were arrested by Madurai Police under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the IT Act and are currently residing in Madurai Central Jail. The two of them allegedly were responsible for taking and sharing intimate pictures and videos of the girlfriend’s hostel mates.

The police working on the case said that the girlfriend started taking pictures and videos of her hostel mates while they were changing clothes and bathing. She then sent them to her boyfriend, the doctor, using WhatsApp. During one of the times when she was taking pictures and videos, one of her hostel mates found out.
The hostel mate along with others went through the girlfriend, Janani’s phone and found several other intimate videos and photos in the photo gallery. They all took the matter to their hostel warden who on Thursday filed a complaint with the Madurai Anna Nagar police station.
As per the reports, the complaint was then transferred to the cybercrime department of police. The police said, “Janani has been staying at the working girls and Paying Guest (PG) hostel since March. She took intimate photos and videos of her hostel mates, including bathing in the nude, and sent them to her friend Ashiq”.

Furthermore, the police confirmed that Ashiq and Janani who were working together in a clinic run by the former were in a relationship. The girlfriend started by taking nude videos of herself but later started sharing intimate pictures and videos of her hostel mates based on his request.
One of the police officers also added that the girlfriend deleted the conversation between her and the doctor and due to that they could not confirm how long this was going on. However, both of their phones were seized and sent to the forensic lab for data recovery. They are also not sure whether Ashiq sent the videos and pictures to any other persons.
