“Bulli Bai” And “Sulli Deals” Accused Niraj Bishnoi And Omkareshwar Thakur Granted Bail On Humanitarian Grounds. Seriously?
You know, sometimes I think the world is conspiring against all the women. Every single day, I wake up and hear news about women being victims of hate crimes, violence, sexual abuse, and discrimination. All this news are tiring but somehow, it gets worse. Recently, the “Bulli Bai” and “Sulli Deals” apps creators case – Niraj Bishnoi and Omkareshwar Thakur were granted bail. I don’t understand the rules of this world, to be honest!
Niraj Bishnoi and Omkareshwar Thakur are being accused of creating apps where Muslim women were being auctioned. On Monday, the Delhi Court granted bail to both the accused on humanitarian grounds which does not make sense at all. According to the reports, the court took the decision as both the accused are first time offenders. The court also mentioned that keeping them in prison will harm their overall well-being. And what about the harm they caused to all the Muslim women, then? We are just going to ignore it like we always do, right?
