Bihar Man Requests CM To Ban Weddings During Covid To Keep His Ex From Marrying Another Man
Considering I have never been in a position where my ex broke up with me only to get married to someone else soon after instead of mourning for me, I can’t possibly begin to imagine the grief of someone this might have happened to. Especially if they break up when they’re still madly and deeply in love. In fact, if Bollywood movies are anything to go by, we already know that it hurts like a bitch. And perhaps, it was to ease that kind of a pain, that this man from Bihar decided to do something about his ex-gf’s wedding (and weddings in general) rather than sit around moping.
Rhis man from Bihar had the most innovative idea to stop the wedding of his ex-girlfriend, who after breaking up with him was all set to tie the knot with someone else.
Since the news came at the time our country was already struggling with a pandemic and tackling a lockdown being imposed in several parts of the country, the man who goes by the name Pankaj Kumar Gupta, thought of using it as the perfect tool to get his way. How? He approached the CM with an unlikely request!

Tagging Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in a tweet after he had recently posted, “The positive outcome of the lockdown is evident. Hence, a decision has been taken to extend the lockdown by another 10 days, from May 16 to 25,” Pankaj decided to use the opportunity to seek help.
He tagged the CM and wrote in hindi, “Sir, if you could impose a ban on weddings, then my girlfriend’s wedding, scheduled to be held on May 19, would also be stalled. I will be grateful to you forever.” A tweet that instantly became a hit on Twitter, as people laughed at just how creative and unexpected his request was.
