One thing that can surely cause problems or get you in trouble is assumptions. When you start assuming things instead of finding out the facts, that’s when things start going downhill. I believe assumptions can ruin most things including relationships, in fact, especially relationships. Take the instance of the woman in Bhopal who assumed her husband to have an affair with another woman and beat her up and now has a case filed against her. Recently, a video went viral on the internet where a burqa-clad woman was seen hitting another woman in a gym and when a man tried to stop her, she hit him too. The man in the video is the burqa-clad woman’s husband.

The video of the incident was shot at the Koh-e-Fiza area of Bhopal. According to the local cop in charge, the 30-year-old burqa-clad woman arrived with her sister at the gym where her husband was working out. The woman assumed that the other woman he was working out with was his girlfriend and therefore thrashed her.

Anil Bajpai said, “The woman suspected that her husband was having a relationship with this woman in the gym. She started hitting the latter with shoes while others, including the man, tried to stop her. The entire ruckus went on for ten minutes. On Sunday, the woman and her husband lodged complaints against each other.”

According to the reports, the husband denied his wife’s allegations of having an affair with the woman and further stated that he did not even know the woman who was being called his girlfriend. After all the ruckus that the wife created, a case was filed against her for criminal intimidation and causing hurt.

Now, that’s a twist I wasn’t expecting. A wife assumed her husband to have an affair, thrashed a woman whom she thought was his girlfriend, and later ended up having a case filed against her. If this is not bad luck then I don’t know what is. I have a bit of preachy advice for all those who have doubts about your partners, maybe try talking to them. If nothing, you might just be able to catch them lying or you can finally be at peace with all your assumptions sorted out.
