Beer Biceps Tells Women What Dress Can Bring Men To Their Knees. Wow, How Subtly Sexist

One of the best social media platforms, in my opinion, is Twitter. I mean that place is a world of its own. It is not just a place where one can express themselves in 140 characters, but also a place where one gets put in place for saying something offensive, sexist, etc. And that someone can be anyone – the president of the United States or a well-known YouTuber. In the most recent incident, Beer Biceps, a YouTuber, was called out by Twitter users for making a sexist comment.

In a recent tweet, Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps, a YouTuber and social media influencer tweeted about the kind of clothes a woman should wear to bring a man down to his knees. He basically tried telling all the women what dress they can wear to bring men to their knees.

Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps, a YouTuber and social media influencer, posted a picture of a woman dressed in pastel green kurta paired with big earrings. His tweet, even though casual, was quite sexist to begin with. In his tweet, he wrote, “Any girl becomes a 100x more attractive in a long kurti paired with those big earrings. Life hack that brings all guys to their knees.”

Now, social media – especially Twitter – is an unforgiving place. Especially for someone like Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps, who has been a famous influencer in recent times. His tweet got him a lot of responses that not only put him in his place for his sexist remark but also were quite entertaining, to be honest.

First of all, the tweet is sexist because it makes women sound like dolls that should be prettied up. I mean, you can be shallow, as Ranveer is being here, but must it be so obvious? Sure, have an opinion but state it as that and please don’t throw around fashion advice. Because honestly, treating women as human beings that exist to please men is all sorts of stupid.

And the replies from Twitter users to Ranveer Allahbadia aka Beer Biceps’ tweet are well justified. Even though the tweet was supposedly casual, it is the type of casual locker-room sexism that has been ignored and swept under the rug for quite a while. Let me be honest here, to all the boys and men reading this, we women do not dress for you. And if we do, then trust me, you would know. Telling us or “recommending” us what to wear is a big no-no and the biggest turn-off. So kindly let us be. Every woman is different. And every woman’s choice in fashion, career, life, etc. is different. Respect it.
