A 2-Month-Old Baby Girl’s Body Has Been Found In A Microwave Oven. What Monster Would Do This?
It is a shame that a girl is never truly safe. In the world we live in, girls have something or the other to be worried about or scared about since they are merely kids. And the sad part is that this has been normalised to a huge extent. Every woman has an experience where she was violated or disrespected and believe it or not, most of us tend to talk about our stories casually. But one news that completely left me flabbergasted and disgusted was the news of the body of a baby girl found in an oven in South Delhi.
A two-month-old baby girl was found dead in a microwave oven in South Delhi on Monday afternoon. The child’s mother has been taken into custody for interrogation after the family alleged that she might have been the culprit. The police received the call at 4:30 PM about the body being found wrapped in a cloth. The baby wrapped in a cloth was found in the oven and was then rushed to the hospital.

Benita Mary Jaiker, who is the DCP said that after they received the call that a baby was missing, the police from Malviya Nagar police station rushed to the spot. The neighbours informed them that they found the baby girl’s body in the oven. She said that the cause of death is not yet confirmed and they are interrogating the family to confirm the facts and events.

A family member said that they had to break the door open and found the mother lying unconscious with the baby missing. She refused to speak about the child which scared the family. According to The Indian Express, the baby’s grandfather claimed, “I was sleeping downstairs when I heard noises. I was told that the baby was missing. We all searched nearby houses and lanes, checked tanks and rooms… After some time, a few boys went to the terrace and opened a room there. They found the baby’s body stashed in an old oven… she was dead. We think her mother killed her as she was the only one at home. She was unhappy with the baby…”
