As someone who reads way too many romance novels and watches way too many romance anime for her own good, the concept of a “power couple” has always appealed to me. What’s not to love? A couple where both people involved are successful and thrive together while supporting one another. Sounds like an amazing relationship to me! One such couple is Australian wicketkeeper, Alyssa Healy and bowler Mitchell Starc who are now coming to be known as Australian cricket’s power couple, and for good reason too!

Alyssa Healy set the foundation for Australia’s seventh ICC Women’s World Cup win in 2022. She also set the record as the highest run-getter with 509 runs. Her husband and bowler Mitchell Starc who is known as a premier fast bowler set a record of his own back in the 2019 World Cup at 27 wickets.

Starc was seen cheering his wife and the entire women’s team as Healy and her team won the title for the seventh time in the Women’s World Cup 2022 on Sunday. They both share a common title and record; they were both bestowed with the title of Player of the Tournament at the 2015 and 2022 World Cups.
