A Video Of This Grandmother Casually Bowling A Perfect Strike In A Saree Has Gone Viral

By  |

Anyone who even remotely knows me can tell you just how bad I am at sports. From table tennis to football, over the years I have deduced that my hand-eye coordination is negligible. And hence, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that every time I have gone bowling, I have lost miserably to the other team. While they get strikes on strikes on strikes, my balls always seem to be more attracted to the gutter than the pins. That is not an innuendo though it might read like one. Anyway, today I watched this viral video of a granny bowling like a total boss and it’s blowing my mind. She is so cute. Where can I get her swagger?

This video features an elderly woman, adorning a bright yellow saree, bowling a strike with such ease. This left netizens in complete awe. The cutest thing though about the whole video is how she straightens her mask and watches the pins topple over each other while everyone around her cheer. Bowling has never looked so easy!

The video, which has not gone viral, was posted by the woman’s proud grandson, Sudarshan Krishnamurthy, from Winston-Salem in North Carolina, US. Along with the video, he wrote, “Hi Twitter, please appreciate my grandma bowling a strike in her saree, and then proceeding to ensure her mask covers her nose.”

The moment when she turns around after casually bowling that perfect strike and fixes her mask casually is so adorable. Not to mention that she did that while wearing a saree. It’s beyond impressive. Of course, I am wondering why she was out bowling in the middle of the pandemic but we don’t know for sure where this video was taken. What I do know is that it made me smile on a rather gloomy and glum day. It also washed away all the pandemic woes and reminded me of a time when having fun was a possibility
