Umbrella By Gucci, Adidas Worth Over $1,644 Does Not Protect From Rain, Internet Says “You Had One Job”
Okay, I have used many useless things in my life, including those scented erasers, fairness creams, and my brain (I still use it occasionally). However, there are many people who are ready to spend a huge amount of money on basic and useless things just because it is branded and the same thing happened when Gucci and Adidas joined hands to launch a new product. Recently, Gucci and Adidas introduced an umbrella in China which does not protect from the rain because it is not waterproof. Erm, why are we calling it an umbrella then?
The recent collaboration between the luxury brand Gucci and sportswear brand Adidas sparked an online debate. A parasol or a sun umbrella by the two prominent brands received backlash in China because it is not waterproof. The price of the umbrella is $1, 644 approximately and can be only used as a fashion accessory as it is not made to protect from the rain. According to the reports, the websites of the brands mentioned that the item is not waterproof and is only meant for sun protection or decorative use. Well, okay then! The ‘sun umbrella’ is set to be released on June 7 in China, as per reports.

Well, Gucci and Adidas received a lot of criticism for the expensive but useless item on the internet. People are calling the leaky umbrella a ‘useless fashion statement’ and we can’t help but agree with them.

Imagine buying a $1600 umbrella as a status symbol, discovering it doesn’t stop rain, then finding out it was never intended to work in the first place
I’d rather get publicly swindled out of $1600 in a low level ponzi scheme than be seen holding a gucci umbrella https://t.co/HD5uXZf51N

The $1600 gucci umbrella that really isn’t an umbrella is on par with people wearing glasses without frames

Oh my God, this is so accurate and hilarious.
This gorgeous Adidas x Gucci umbrella costs $1300 and it won’t protect you from the rains. But you will look fashionable when soaking wet, guaranteed https://t.co/68k8KU2dvS

Well, the umbrella looks really pretty but no one can convince me to buy it, to be honest!
