SAG 2022 Awards Was All About Corals, Culture And Iconic Fashion Reunions. Take A Look

The 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards’ red carpet was all about eye-popping shades and stunning silhouettes. Dressed in their best, were celebrities who made a glimmering entry on the star-lit carpet to join the celebration of winning films/shows, CODA, Succession, Ted Lasso, Squid Game and more. From iconic stage appearances by Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino who brought back a version of their Romy And Michele’s High School Reunion to Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Andrew Garfield and more, here’s a list of the well-dressed celebs at the big awards night. 

Lady Gaga

Dressed in a stunning column gown in the shade white, lady Gaga’s glitter twist to the Armani Privé gown was impeccable. The House Of Gucci star was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a female actor in a leading role. She further accessorised the look with scintillating Tiffany & Co. diamond jewels with side-parted hair, pale white eyeshadow worn beneath the dramatic wing.

Selena Gomez

The “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” singer killed it on the red carpet in a black velvet gown. Bringing the timeless elegance of designer Oscar de la Renta’s brilliant designs to life, the classic piece featured extreme puff shoulders, accentuated by the three-layered Bulgari neck and ear accessories. She further styled her hair into a neat low bun and well, ‘we can’t get enough’ of this look.

Hoyeon Jung

One of our favourite looks from the big awards night was pulled off by Netflix’s Squid Game star, Hoyeon Jung, who BTW also won Outstanding Actress in a drama series. She walked the red carpet wearing a custom gown by Louis Vuitton, a heavily embroidered number that was paired with a matching ribbon added to her braided ponytail, which paid homage to the traditional daenggi hair ribbon, a cultural symbol of Korea.

My favourite man– Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield, had my eyes on him. Wearing a custom-made Saint Laurent stripe, pant-suit, the Tick Tick…Boom star’s choice of suitings played along the lines of his usual approach for red carpets. But Mr Garfield knows the trick to impress with his charm.
