The colours, the fabrics, and the accessories come together to tell a story that is beyond words and the same thing happened with Viktoria Apanasenko who is representing the war-torn country Ukraine at the Miss Universe pageant. Vicktoria Apanasenko’s ‘Warrior of Light’ outfit for the beauty pageant is winning hearts because of its symbolism.

Miss Ukraine Viktoria Apanasenko wore a stunning outfit for the national costume competition of the Miss Universe pageant. The ‘Warrior of Light’ ensemble symbolises the country’s fight against darkness. The costume is designed by Lesia Patoka and her label Nagolovy. The post mentioned that Patoka designed the beautiful ensemble for Viktoria in Ukraine in four months in extreme conditions, to the sound of sirens, without electricity, and by candlelight which is quite impressive, to be honest. People described the costume as “badass” and wished Viktoria Apanasenko the best for the Miss Universe pageant.

The traditional headwear is decorated with spikelets. The wings attached to the costume are framed in blue and gold armour in the colours of the Ukrainian flag, and it is decorated with different mirror ornaments that add a shine to it.
