Party In Style And On A Budget With Outfits From Celeb-Fav Brands

We all love to channel a glamorous celebrity look. Don’t we? And often when you go looking for that dress in their wardrobe, the price makes you wanna scream and say, “What, are you kidding me?” Believe me, being a fashion writer I am so tempted to buy every outfit that I describe through my words, but sadly, I also hope to not burn a hole in my wallet. So, to help you, and myself, I went down digging deeper into the closets of our favourite celebrities to find atleast one affordable label, and to my surprise, I found many. Hence, I have rounded up a list of some of my favourite, pretty much affordable celebrity-favourite party designs, that you too can build in about 5,000 to 7,000. So, let’s get shopping.

Bhumi-Approved Bling

If trends dominate your style each season, especially for the new year’s party, then ladies, allow Bhumi Pednekar to guide you to a perfect look. The actress mixed both bling, and candy hues at the trailer launch of her latest release–Govinda Naam Mera. And the bling, sequin green blazer suit was picked from the shelves of our favourite one-stop-shop H&M. So if you wish to go partying in bling, dial up the hotline, and get Bhumi’s blazer from the brand.

Sunny Satin

A summer dream for you to live in is label–Summer Somewhere and its latest collection of dresses. If you’re an eagle-eyed Instagrammer stalking every celebrity look, you must’ve spotted Khushi Kapoor in a sunny-yellow satin dress, and Mira Kapoor in a classic, two-toned slip dress. Well, the good news is that you can recreate both their looks by picking the exact same dresses from label–Summer Somewhere. Priced between 6,000 and 7,000, these ethereal dresses also come in many colourful versions, that you can choose to ring in the new year.

Co-ord Set

The year has been all about wearing coordinated sets, and every celebrity outfit has put a stamp on it. And a perfect piece for the holiday season was found in the promotion closet of actress–Tara Sutaria. For the press tour of her film–Ek Villain Returns, the actress chose to wear designer Ankita Dharman’s Theia printed skort set. The set features a skort, teamed with sultry bralette, which you can exchange for a corset, like Tara. The set will cost you close to 6,000 which is a pretty good deal to build your designer closet.

The Corset Talk

Thanks to Bridgeton, corsets refused to leave our screens, and well the trend charts this year. If you scroll through every celebrity wardrobe, you’d find at least one picture featuring it. Hence, we recommend curating a chic look this party season with celebrity-favourite corsets from label–Polite Society. From Sobhita Dhulipala’s bodysuit to Ananya Panday, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s lace-up corsets, you can buy every piece under the budget of 5,000 or even less.

Glitter Pantsuits

To keep you cosy, and still in sync with the theme of the party season, we bring a dazzling pantsuit in glitter black from the closet of Janhvi Kapoor. The bling, versatile silhouette is not only a great investment for the party month but a smart season fluid silhouette to re-style for upcoming occasions as well. And you’d be shocked to know, that Kapoor’s glitter pantsuit is from nowhere but our beloved Zara. So, it’s a happy pick for your debit card too.
