Last night was a star-studded affair, with celebrities from the world of television and a few from films, walking the red carpet for the 21st Indian Television Awards. From Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt to Nia Sharma, Rupali Ganguly, Rakhi Sawant, celebs pulled out their stylish best for the big awards night. Take a look at the most atrangi and fab red carpet fashion

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt made a stunning appearance in white? No, but this time in a beautiful silver Bloni sterling saree. While the saree did the much-needed justice to Alia’s glimmering persona, the idea behind its making made an impressive impact. Curated out of waste recycled nylon and repurposed degradable faux leather, Alia Bhatt opted for designer label Boni’s creations and added a pair of oxidised earrings to match the saree. Keeping the look minimal, just how Alia loves, makeup artist Puneet B Saini worked around a dewy look, peach lips, and shimmer eyelids.

Ranveer Singh

Mr Singh appeared for the big event in his usual andaaz, which is always OTT at its best. The Ram Leela star arrived in an all-black pant suit with white detailing gracing his left shoulder. For accessorises, Ranveer opted for white framed shades, matching loafers and secured his hair into a man-bun that looked hot.

Nia Sharma And Ravii Dubey

Actress Nia Sharma is indeed known for her daring styles and this outfit proved it. Looking gorgeous in a custom, multi-cut out sheer gown, Nia’s grand outfit for the big night featured sequinned detailing on the panels, feather laden neckline, sleeves and was designed by designer Suman Guha. Going easy on accessories Nia opted for simple pearl-stud earrings, silver, pointed toe-pump heels with hair styled into curls. Posing with his Jamai Raja was actor Ravii Dubey who opted for a classic black pant-suit, layered over a white shirt. And we think the signature red-carpet avatar worked well for him.

Indeed the star of the evening, Hina Khan walked the scintillating carpet in a black, two-piece set, featuring an off-shoulder peplum top and a pair of white legged pants. Replete with sequins, the gorgeous peplum donned by Hina, incorporated a neon-orange hemline that punctuated the all-black look. She further experimented with her hair and make-up this time and opted for a high ponytail, and painted her lids with a double mod eyeliner, which is very Euphoria to me.

Vaani Kapoor

Actress Vaani Kapoor’s sartorial style for the 21st ITA Awards was quite impressive. Giving a feather-spin to the classic black saree, Vaani wore designer Manish Malhotra’s creation to the red carpet. Vaani’s black saree had a lot of creative energy flowing through the pallu in the form of multi-hued feathers, that matched her blouse. Accessorising the look, Vaani added a pair of flower earrings, liner and a bindi to top it all off. Simple and stunning.

Our very own Babita ji walked the red carpet in a one-shouldered white gown, featuring a thigh-high slit. Keeping her look minimal, Munmun opted for subtle make-up, a nude-lip shade, a box clutch and glimmering silver heels. But what caught ours eyes and ofc the Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fanclubs’ as well, was her meeting with actor Dilip Joshi AKA Jethalal which was captured by the paparazzi.

Nakuul And Jankee Parekh Mehta

The coolest and most stylish jodi in the world of television has to be this one. Appearing for the ITA Awards last night, both Jankee and Nakuul were well-suited up, if I may say so. While Nakuul opted for a Sacramento green pant-suit teamed with a royal blue tie and a white shirt, Jankee looked stunning in a black sequinned pant-suit and added an element of colour through her green pointed-pump heels and twinned with husband Nakuul. Television’s newest and cutest jodi came hand in hand as they walked the red carpet.
