Ananya Panday Stuns As Showstopper For Falguni Shane Peacock At The Grand Finale Of FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week
It’s a bittersweet feeling when something you’ve highly looked forward to comes and goes away in the blink of an eye. After returning to corporeal format after two whole years, fashion week was one hell of an anticipated event. But would you look at it, it’s a wrap already! Tonight was the Grand Finale of the FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week in Delhi, and closing the show was designer duo Falguni Shane Peacock, with a glamourous and futuristic collection, titled Earthbound. And it was Ananya Panday who turned muse and showstopper for the designers, sashaying down the ramp for a dramatic and fitting end to fashion week.

Ananya Panday wore a stunning pink sequinned strapless gown, replete with a long train, taking inspiration from the 80s, and yet looking every bit futuristic, as is the collection’s theme.

In keeping with tradition, the finale collection was inspired by a range of Lakmé products, in this case, their new Lakmé Absolute Explore Eye Range, which from the looks of the outfits and the makeup looks created by celebrated makeup artist Daniel Bauer, is all about being bold, flamboyant, flashy, and blingy.
