Twitter Has A Theory That Deepika Padukone Is Honey-Trapping SRK In Pathaan
It has been a rather happening day with the launch of the trailer for the most awaited film of the year, Pathaan. To say that Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham left us stunned with the trailer would be an understatement. Moreover, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana were a pleasure to watch. And now, we just cannot wait to book our tickets to watch the film when it hits the big screen on January 2023. But at the same time, we’re very curious to know more about Deepika’s character and Twitter is starting to wonder if DP is playing the “main villain” or perhaps a double agent!
Ever since the trailer dropped, Twitter has been buzzing with reactions but it looks like netizens are also coming up with conspiracy theories and wondering if Deepika Padukone’s character is really who she seems to be. In the film, SRK plays the titular role of an agent in exile who returns to save the country from a terrorist outfit called Outfit X led by John Abraham. Pathaan joins forces with another soldier aka Deepika Padukone to take John’s character down. But this action-packed trailer of the film had convinced Twitter that there’s more to Deepika Padukone’s spy than what meets the eye. And netizens have gone all out to spot the little signs that might prove the theory right. Let’s take a look.

While some fans claimed that an incident might have led Deepika Padukone’s character in Pathaan to betray her country, others suggested that the actress might reveal herself to be a villain after Pathaan aka SRK falls for her. Well, honey-trapping or not, we’d love to see Deepika playing the bad guy. That’s a twist, we’d totally wanna watch!
#PathanTrailer was a good one not great tho, some dialogues felt repetitive and vfx wasn’t impressive and I genuinely hope they have some plot twists instead of a generic plot( imagine Deepika turning Villain after Pathan falls for her) I love #SRK𓃵 and I hope this movie works.

One user even decoded the character posters of Pathaan and noted that Shah Rukh Khan’s character poster has a green tint and John Abraham’s has a blue tint and since we know SRK is the protagonist and John is the villain, it’s clear that the posters are, in some sense, colour coded. And if that’s the case, then it’s essential to note that Deepika’s character poster also has a light blue tint much like John’s.
