The moment every Shah Rukh Khan fan has been waiting for is here! Yes, I am talking about the trailer of the highly-awaited movie, Pathaan, which dropped on January 10, 2023. This SRK, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham starrer has been the talk of the country, for months before even the trailer was released! And for what reasons? Waise chodo yeh sab baatein! Speaking of the action-thriller, it is directed by War filmmaker Siddharth Anand film and also stars Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in prominent roles. And we finally get to see what all of them are up to in the Pathaan trailer!

John Abraham is the head of a terror group, Outfit X, that works on a contract basis and will soon launch a deadly attack on India. Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana work for the intelligence agency that has been keeping track of the terror group’s activities. After John releases a video challenging them to save India from the explosive attack, Dimple calls the one guy who is only going to be the saviour of all, Pathaan!

He and Deepika work together to dismember Outfit X by blasting its members using guns, bazookas, bombs, and just about every ammunition known to mankind. Pathaan is loyal to his country and will go to any lengths to save his nation.

My first impression of the Pathaan trailer was, “It is dhamakeedar!” The kind of dhamakedaar that is worth the wait and potential to be a total paisa vasool! Much like Pathaan himself, SRK has been on a kind of self-imposed exile from the big screen for a while. So it is going to be worth our money anyway to see him back on the big screen. And boy, does he looks sexy as hell in his rugged physique and messy long hair!
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone as a pair work wonderfully. I cannot wait to see their chemistry again on the big screen. The dialogues are seeti-maar, which means expect SRK fans to applaud each of them. In fact, the Boycott Brigade should take a closer look, because Pathaan is nothing if not patriotic! SRK even ends the trailer with “Jai Hind!”
I saw the entire trailer twice just to hear SRK say his dialogues in his classic cocky style! Deepika Padukone is all up and armed to take the baddies down. Or is she a baddie? I have my doubts about the side she is on in this one.
It’s great to see John Abraham back to playing the villain in a YRF film. We love the dhoom he stirs up in these characters, which he does a shade better than in his other films, where he is playing jingoist characters. He looks slick, his action scenes with SRK also look exciting! The makers have made sure they keep the viewers glued to the screen with the plot, the cast, the dialogues and the special effects.

I can say with assurance that no amount of hate can stop this film from pulling people into the theatres for a thrilling, escapist time! Fans are super excited because SRK will grace the silver screen after a hiatus of five years. I am pretty sure fans will throng theatres to grab seats for the first-day-first-show of Pathaan! The film will hit theatres on January 25, 2023.
