The actor turned politician took to her social media to pen an angry note on the sad incidents happening around us. Addressing the Twisha Sharma case, Kangana Ranaut wrote that such cases among young couples have become so common. She spoke about girls who reach out to their parents in such terrible situations before the severe tragedies happen. She gave very strong advice to the women and went on to highlight the importance of building a career first before getting married. She asked women to be their own hero and build a life where she doesn’t have to listen to anyone. Kangana Ranaut clearly said it out loud, “No one is coming to save you.”

Chinmayi Sripada

Singer Chinmayi Sripada used her sharp words to talk about the incidents. She wrote that Twisha Sharma’s case was proof that many Indian parents still thought their daughters to be a commodity, which, when delivered to the in-laws, had no return policy. She further wrote, “The girl can die at the In-laws. That is only honourable after Kanya Daan. Telugu actor Swetaa Sharma also reacted to the Twisha Sharma case. The actor spoke about working with Twisha Sharma in Mugguru Monagallu and recalled their fun conversations. According to Swetaa Sharma, Twisha was a jolly person, and it was hard to believe that she would take a drastic step. She expressed shock at learning that the case happened just six months after the marriage. Swetaa Sharma hoped that justice would be delivered.
