Twisha Sharma’s family has claimed that there have been many lapses in the investigation of their daughter’s death. They are also demanding a second postmortem. As per an NDTV report, Bhopal’s Police Commissioner has defended these claims. In his latest statement, the Police Chief Sanjay Kumar said that the postmortem reports did not detect any use of drugs in Twisha’s body. However, he further dismissed claims of murder and called it a su*cide, based on the evidence collected so far. He called it a case of anti-mortem hanging.

What Is The Twisha Sharma Case?

As per the news reports, Twisha Sharma was found hanging at her in-laws’ house in Bhopal. Some CCTV footage is also doing the rounds on social media. The victim’s family has alleged that it was not a su*cide and that Twisha faced a lot of physical and mental harassment from her husband, Samarth. On the other hand, Twisha’s mother-in-law, a Retired Judge, has made many claims against the deceased. She has claimed that Twisha was a drug addict and that she never wanted a child. For the unversed, the victim was reportedly pregnant.  Her husband is currently absconding.
