The internet is a free space where all kinds of stories and rumours surface. In the K-pop world, videos and posts often go viral and ignite heated discussions. Recently, a fresh rumour about BTS leader RM, also known as Kim Namjoon, has been making rounds online. Many people are claiming that he hooked up with a fan he met during the Arirang World Tour. Read on to know all about it.
Recently, BTS performed at Stanford Stadium in Connecticut on May 16, 17, and 19 as part of their Arirang World Tour. After the show, a fan posted a video of her interaction with RM. She held up a sign that said, “Namjoon, I’m a pro rider,” which is a famous line from his song ‘Nuts’.
The video became very popular because fans liked RM’s reaction. But later, when the clip was shared again on X, some people started spreading rumours. They claimed the fan had “signed an NDA” with RM.
These claims arose from the fan’s own jokes and replies. What was meant as humour was taken seriously by some netizens, which led to false stories circulating online.
Following which, fans came to the leader’s defence. They said the comments were clearly jokes and warned others not to take these moments too far.
On the other hand, the Arirang World Tour is BTS’s major full-group comeback. The tour started on April 9, 2026, in Goyang, South Korea. After successful concerts in North America, the group will next perform in Las Vegas. They will then travel to Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Australia. In total, BTS will do 82 shows in 34 cities around the world.
