On the recent episode of Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist, Bigg Boss 16 contestant Priyanka Chahar Choudhary opened up about growing up in a family where his grandfather carried similar perspectives. The BB 16 star revealed how she never let such notions affect her or her confidence.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, an actor who rose to fame from Big Boss 16 featured on the latest episode of Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist, hosted by Siddharth Aalambayan. The host questioned the actor about her experience of growing up in a family where there was also the need for a male child. To this, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary honestly shared her share of experiences. The actor said that his grandfather was very persistent about having a male child in the family since boys are the ones who took the legacy ahead, unlike girls, who are considered to be “Paraya Dhan”.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary added that because of this need to have a male child, many girls were both to their mother before bearing a boy. She further stated that her grandfather was no longer alive to finally see her baby brother. When Siddharth Aalambayan further asked about her feelings on being a by-product of a male child, Priyanka responded saying that it never mattered to her.
