TMF: Elli AvRam On Casting Couch: They Have Disgusting Hand Gestures
This is so disgusting.
Actresses have often talked about the disgusting casting couch instances that they experienced in the early days of their careers. It just makes you feel angry to know that women are only objectified in professional spaces, rather than being considered for their skills and talents. In the latest episode of Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist Elli AvrRam also shared her casting couch experience and the weird hand gestures that people made at her. The Male Feminist, Siddhaarth Aalambayan also found himself speechless after listening to some of the incidents.

In episode 10 of The Male Feminist, Elli AvrRam opened up about the initial days of her acting career in the film industry. The host, Siddhaarth Aalambayan asked Elli about a hand gesture incident that happened to her. Then he also demonstrated the gesture for the audience. Elli AvrRam then went ahead to talk about the incident which happened during one of her meetings with a director. Elli was absolutely clueless about this gesture and asked a friend about this. Her friend explained that it is a way of asking for sexual favours. Elli AvrRam felt disgusted after knowing this. And this happened to the actress on many occasions.

Elli AvrRam then went ahead to share the most insulting and sick incident that happened to her when she met a person for a professional meeting. The man directly questioned her whether or not she is a virgin. When Elli said that she is not a virgin, the man went on to make the most demeaning and disgusting comment about it. He said that she should then not have a problem with sleeping with anyone. He even displayed a pathetic mindset about foreign girls and said that sleeping around is very normal for them. Elli was shocked at this comment and still remembers it.
